The oval shaped structure is 84 meters tall overall and has a built-up area of 30,000 square meters.
The 12,000 square meters of exhibition space on seven floors, nine meters apart, of the museum covered in stainless steel are located above the podium.
It houses 7 Storeys of exhibition space, 3 podium levels including a 420 seat auditorium, restaurant, café, lobby & parking space.
"The building was built using robotic technology and is powered by 4,000 megawatts of solar energy from its own solar park."
"This 17,600sqm of torus shaped building is covered with 1024 fire retardant, stainless-steel-clad glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) panels with illuminated glazed Arabic calligraphy."
Each panel's calligraphy, which forms the glazed window penetrations within the façade, was sculpted into the building's façade.
The calligraphy is illuminated by over 14,000m of LED lights
Visitors can experience the future in all of its features and dimensions through the column-free construction.
Laser scanning was used to compare as-built conditions to the 3D model to remove errors related to installation and rework.
